Do you only shoot Moms?
No. The #momtomodel series is only one of our offerings.
What is the #momtomodel series?
It’s an unforgettable experience that we wish all moms could experience . We hope by the name it is self-explanatory, but it’s taking next-door everyday mom and her mom bod and turning her into a steamy, vivacious pinup model. It’s a pick-me-up of the best kind. Our SPECIALITY is working with women - especially moms - who have body concerns. Many women message us saying they don’t like their tummy (shape, stretch marks, etc.), and our reply is always, “That’s fine, we don’t shoot stomachs”. Women fall in love with themselves when they see their photos. Don’t believe us? Read through the hundreds of 5 star Yelp reviews - if women weren’t happy with us, they would certainly say it, but with a perfect 5 star rating and hundreds of reviews, we must be doing something right.
Will my photos be posted anywhere?
Not if you want to keep them private. 80% of our clients wish to keep the photos private. It’s completely up to you. You can be as discreet or as public as you wish. Should you wish to keep your photos completely private, simply don’t sign the model release.
Are hair and makeup services included?
My wife, Rose Moulin provide the full make-over. Be sure to request these services at the time of booking.
Do you provide the outfits?
No, we don't provide lingerie. After all, who wants to wear someone else's? However, we do offer personalized consultations on outfit selection, including recommendations on what to buy and where to purchase."
I have no clue what to wear or what looks sexy. What should I do?
We kick off the process by having you send photos of yourself, allowing me to understand your body type better. Next, we'll ask you to browse through your closet and send us photos of potential outfit options. If we feel that additional wardrobe items may enhance the shoot, we recommend checking out reputable online retailers such as www.shein.com or www.yandy.com. Locally, clients have found success in discovering casual cotton pieces like bodysuits, oversized tanks, and camis at Jeans Warehouse. For those seeking high-end options, Victoria's Secret at Ala Moana is also available, albeit at a higher price point.
Can I expect assistance with posing and direction?
Absolutely! The majority of our clients are new to the experience, so it's my responsibility to ensure you look your best. We'll guide you through poses that accentuate your features and address any concerns you may have.
Do you have a studio?
We handle hair and makeup at our downtown location, while our shoot settings typically take place in rented homes. One of our regular locations is in Aina Haina, offering a modern ambiance, air conditioning, and utmost privacy.
How many people are on set?
Just me. My wife is doing hair and makeup for the next client while I’m shooting you..
Should I get a spray tan if I have significant tan lines?
Yes! We'd prefer to spend more time on photographing you than editing you. One of the places that come highly recommended from past clients is Pacific Spray Tan in Waikiki. We are not affiliated with this company, and are merely providing this information as a resource.
I have irregular menstrual cycles. Can I cancel without penalty if it starts on or before the shoot date?
We do not allow cancellation without the forfeit of your deposit. This is due to expenses that have gone into your shoot including, but not limited to, renting the home.
Can I still shoot if I’m on my menstrual cycle?
Absolutely. We’ve done it many times. Past clients have given great feedback about the Diva Cup which may be available at Longs, Walgreens, etc. Other clients have simply used tampons and tucked in the string. If you want to feel your absolute best, and don’t want to shoot during your time of the month, please consider your cycle when booking your shoot - many women do not.
Can my friend or husband join me to give me moral support?
Yes, but we don’t recommend it. We won’t say no, but we don’t recommend it because sometimes it’s harder for me to “crack” a woman. If hubby comes along, you’re used to being a certain way around him…it would be hard to crack that and get you to be an elevated version of yourself. I’ve done shoots where hubby has stepped outside, and the woman starts connecting. Other times the hubby being there hasn’t been an issue. Maybe come on your own first, and then bring him for a couple's shoot! Ultimately, it’s up to you!
Are you male or female?
Male, My wife is the makeup artist. And for what it’s worth, I’d have no problem with a woman working on my Harley-Davidson if she’s amazing too!
Do you offer different packages?
No. To keep it simple, we have one set price. We do offer the client the option of taking 20 edits or all unedited. The vast majority of clients take all the ones I present unedited because they get more photos for the same price, and I get less editing time behind the computer. It’s a win win.
Do you charge by number of poses?
No. You can have an unlimited number of poses.
What do you edit?
We can edit anything. We can edit including, but not limited to: tan lines or other skin discoloration, scars, cellulite, stretch marks, acne, eczema, stray hairs, subtle body enhancements, etc. Feel free to make known what concerns you have so we can address them. Please note that 95% of our clients take the photos unedited which means we are REALLY good at making them perfect right out of the camera. When you go with the unedited option, you get all of the photos that we present to you.
How much do you charge?
Please contact us for details. With the variety of shoots that we offer, prices vary depending on whether the shoot is indoors or outdoors.
Is there a deposit I need to pay before the shoot?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required upfront to secure your date, and then the remaining payment would be the remainder (due the day of shoot). Outside of that, we recommend saving up until you are ready to make the deposit. Deposit amount is based on the total price.
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
We appreciate your understanding that we do not provide refunds. Your deposit serves as a commitment to reserve your spot, ensuring that we can accommodate your scheduled session without booking other clients on the same day. Cancelling means we miss out on potential opportunities, including the resources invested in preparing for your shoot, such as securing the venue. This policy allows us to maintain the quality and exclusivity of our services. Thank you for your cooperation!
Do you do payment plans?
Yes. 50% deposit is required upfront to secure your date, and then the second payment would be the remainder (due the day of shoot). Outside of that, we recommend saving up until you are ready to make the deposit.
I prefer a more natural look that I’m used to. Can I do my own makeup?
Yes, of course. Some clients prefer not to have us do makeup. We can adjust the price of the shoot to reflect no makeup or hair.
Do you do family shoots?
No, Although we are the highest rated photographer on Oahu, we took the approach about 11 years ago to do one thing, and to do that one thing well…and that is making women look and feel like superstars. We don’t shoot families, weddings,
I want to do an explicit/erotic shoot. Do you do those? And what about couple shoots?
Absolutely no problem at all! Indeed, we specialize in erotic shoots for individuals as well as couples. How many different themes can I do in one shoot?
For the indoor shoots, we can do the #momtomodel, the boudoir, the pillow talk, and the shower scenes all in one shoot.
Do you travel?
Yes. Each year we travel. We are happy to come to you whether it’s our neighbor islands in Hawaii, or even international destinations. Prices vary depending on ticket prices and destination. Message us for more information.
